Orphan Animal Rescue & Sanctuary rescues, rehabilitates and finds homes for pets in need, one at a time.
Founded in 2008, OARS began as a small group of foster volunteers who were passionate about helping pets with a second chance at happiness. Many shelters were overcrowded, and forced to euthanize for space. OARS wanted to help give those pets another opportunity to find a forever home.
OARS is a non-profit, no-kill, volunteer-driven animal rescue in Neenah, WI. They have a small network of pet lovers who takes in abandoned, neglected and/or abused homeless animals, primarily from other rescues and shelters. Dogs are fostered in private homes, and many of the adoptable cats call
the sanctuary adoption center home until they find their person.
